Rental Agreement & Terms of Use

This Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) sets forth the terms and conditions governing the rental and use of vehicles provided by our company (“Company”).
By renting, possessing, or operating the vehicle, the renter (“Customer”) agrees to comply with all terms stated in this Agreement.

1. Reservations
1.1 Reservation Method
Reservations must be made through the Company’s official website or approved reservation platforms.
All reservations are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by the Company.

1.2 Self-Drive Policy
In accordance with Japanese law:
- Vehicles are provided for self-drive use only
- The Company does not provide drivers
- The Company does not arrange chauffeur services
1.3 Cancellation Policy
If a reservation is cancelled, the following cancellation fees apply.
If the customer does not arrive within 1 hour of the scheduled pickup time, the reservation will be treated as a No-Show cancellation.

If cancelled within 24 hours after booking, no cancellation fee will apply.

2. Required Documents
Customers must present valid documentation at the time of vehicle pickup.
Accepted documents:
- Japanese Driver’s License
- OR
- International Driving Permit (1949 Geneva Convention)
Important:
- Digital licenses are not accepted
- Non-Geneva Convention licenses cannot be used in Japan
Foreign customers must also present:
- Passport
Drivers from the following countries must provide an official Japanese translation:
- Switzerland
- Germany
- France
- Taiwan
- Belgium
- Monaco
3. Payment & Security Deposit
3.1 Payment
Individual customers must pay by credit card at the time of reservation.
Corporate customers may use invoice payment if approved.

A security deposit may be required at pickup.
Typical deposit range:

The deposit may be used to cover:
- Traffic violations
- Fuel shortage
- Cleaning fees
- Vehicle damage
- Late return penalties
- Insurance deductibles
- Administrative fees
The deposit will be released after the vehicle is returned and all charges are verified.

If the vehicle becomes unavailable for rental due to damage or accident, the following business compensation charges apply.

The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel.

- Refueling Fee: If the vehicle is not returned full, a refueling charge will be applied based on the distance driven.
- Receipts: If you refuel during your rental period, please keep all fuel receipts.

Tire change labor is free of charge. However, if you purchase a new tire without our prior consent, we may not be able to provide a full refund. Please be sure to keep all receipts.

Jump-start services are free of charge. However, if a battery replacement is required due to customer negligence (e.g., leaving the lights on), the cost will be the customer’s responsibility.

Lock-Out Service
This service applies only if the keys are locked inside the vehicle. The full cost of replacing or recovering a lost smart key is the customer’s responsibility.

Only drivers listed in the rental agreement may operate the vehicle.

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Japan.

These charges are guidelines only, and the final amount will be determined based on the actual repair estimate.
